On Wednesday\u00a09 February Dr\u00a0Gemma<\/span>\u00a0Masson<\/span> (University of Birmingham) presented a paper in our History Research seminar series on the history of the development and changes to the name of the city of Istanbul.\u00a0 As well as explaining the constructions of these names, the paper placed developments in the city’s name within the context of their times.<\/div>\n
